On this collaboration

Dark Moon has been one of our greatest advocates, and our original gateway into the Machined Pens community. Their love for zirconium drove us to add it to our permanent material lineup. Over the years we've made several custom patterns by request; Dark Moon's was a faceted pattern, which became the Reflector.

The original Reflector went through several revisions before it met our standards for a full release. A few of the prototypes exist in the wild, requested by those in the know, but we're excited to finally bring it to our official lineup as one of the first intricate, full barrel mill patterns on the v.03 platform. We even created a derivative pattern, the Refractor.

This drop is a culmination of our collaborative efforts, and our way of kicking off their return as a fellow maker, Dark Moon Workshop.

Two textures. One material.

The Reflector and Refractor will be released in polished, blackened zirconium, with tips optimized for the beloved Pentel Energel refill.

Reflector - our reflective barrel milling, now with a complementary clip. This pattern has been through three revisions and many scrapped prototypes, but it's finally dialed to our standards.
Refractor - a new pattern derived from the Reflector; same idea, different execution.

Both designs will have the Dark Moon Workshop logo machined into the endcap and individual serial numbers under the clip.
