Such a great bolt action pen. Not too chunky, yet not slim. The bolt action is smooth and zero wobble in the pen tip. The frosted polycarbonate look is better than I had anticipated. I purchased the polycarbonate to retrofit it for use with an eink tablet and the result is a perfect, bolt action emr pen! Love it!

I really liked Mod Musings’ design philosophy.

However, the actual product quality is not as good as it appeared in the photos. It may partly be due to the limitations of the polycarbonate material itself, but there are some noticeable issues. The black rubber ring around the center connector screw seems to be too tight, and I can see tiny cracks forming in the transparent PC body around that area. In addition, the metal cap on the tip of the pen appears to be assembled slightly crooked.

It feels like the overall level of finish and quality control may have dropped because of the large number of recent orders. The durability and manufacturing precision do not meet my expectations.

I considered requesting an exchange, but the international round-trip shipping cost is too expensive for me to justify, so I will probably just keep using it as it is. I was planning to order several dozen pens as company gifts, but now I think I need to reconsider it. In

I was so excited for this pen so am really sad to be giving this review..
Within a week of use, the inside of the pen is all scratched and blotchy. Did not expect it to look so funky from a vertical pen click/unclick motion.

Secondly, and I know this may come with the territory, but the weight of the pen is really weird being so top heavy that it feels unnatural to write with. I'm a huge fan of polycarb and most of my desk is polycarb items so was really looking forward to this. With great regret it's no longer an item on my desk :(

I wish I had known it would muck up so quickly

First time buying from Inventery and also first time buying a pen this expensive. I had issues when the package got stuck at my country’s customs and they werent responding properly (very odd situation. DHL customer service was useless. Still no idea what the issue was). Brian was so helpful in getting the issue solved and got the package to me before i left home for travel. Quick responses and action from him. Also, the pen is fantastic. Feels good, looks beautiful and writes really well. It feels sturdy unlike cheap ink pens or even fancy pens with cheap pen tips and refills. All in all, super happy with my purchase!

This pen and its stand are the perfect combination of look, feel, and functionality. The machined steel, combined with the polycarbonate grip, creates just the right balance of added weight while writing and smoothness in the hand. The bolt-action mechanism is incredibly satisfying.

This was the first pen I spent serious money on and glad I did. Fantastic build qualtiy and looks amazing. I have the polycorbonate version with stand and the feel is great. The individual serial number is a nice touch as well.
